Proximity to landscapes, experiences, or destinations that guests travel for — wine country, mountains, coast, or exceptional rural scenery.
Premium guests pay for seclusion. The retreat must be genuinely private from the main dwelling and any neighbouring properties.
Strong photography and listing performance depend on a visual anchor — a view, a tree line, a water feature, or a memorable setting.
Guest experience and cleaning logistics both require reliable road access. Inaccessible properties in bad weather kill reviews.
